Types Of Bet In Roulette

The interesting thing about Roulette is that there are two types of bet in it (major classification)
1)      Inside Bets
2)      Outside Bets
Let us discuss in detail as to the difference between Inside bets and outside bets.

Inside bets:
When the chip is placed inside of the Roulette table i.e. on a specific number or a group of numbers then it is known as inside bet. Inside bet is categorized in to the following types:

Single number bets
When you place your chip on a single number then it is called as a single number bet. For example if you have decided to place your bet on the number 7 then it is considered as single number bet. The ratio of winning over this bet is 1:35 which means that if you place 1$ on the number 7 and then you win then you get 35$. Isn’t that great?

Corner Bet
If you have placed your bet on a corner of four numbers then it is said to be as a corner bet.  The corner is a place where the horizontal and vertical lines intersect and can be considered as a joining place for four numbers. The ratio of the bet is 1:8. If you had bet on a corner of 4 numbers and the ball stops on any of the four numbers then you have won 8$.

Street Bet
In this type of bet you bet the whole horizontal numbers for example 1, 2 and 3 by placing your betting amount on the corner after the number 3. If any one of the number comes as the outcome then you have won in the ration of 11:1. From our above example if you had placed 1$ on the horizontal row then you would have won 11$.

Split Bet
You will be placing your bet on any of the horizontal or vertical line adjoining two numbers. Since you are sharing your bet with two numbers this bet is known as split bet. If any one of the number is the outcome then you win in the ratio of 17:1. If you had placed 1$ your winning would be 17$

Now as we have discussed about the inside bets in detail, let us discuss about the outside bets.

Color Bets
You can see from the above picture that there are two types of colors in Roulette. One is the red and the other is black. You can place your bet on any one of the color. For example, let us consider that you placed your bet of 1$ on the color black. If the ball falls on any number that is black then you have won in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. if you had placed 1$ bet then you would have earned another 1$.

Odd and Even Bets
This type of bet is similar to the above type of color bet. Instead of color, you will be betting on numbers that are either odd or even. Let us consider that you have placed your bet on odd numbers. If the roulette ball falls on any number that is odd then you have won in the ratio 1:1, the same as in the color bet.

Low or High Bets
The numbers in the Roulette table are split into two, low 1 to 18 and high 19 to 36. You can choose to place your bets on either high or low. If you win then you have won in the ratio of 1:1 i.e. 1$ for 1$ bet.

Column bets
You can also place your bet in columns. For example you can place your bet on the column 1, 4, 7 to 34 at the end of the number 34. If the outcome falls in the column that you had chosen then you have won in the ratio of 2:1. If you had placed 1$ you would have earned 2$.

Note: Number 1, 2 and 3 are considered to be horizontal rows while numbers 1. 4, 7 to 34 are considered to be columns.
Memorize these types of bets and sculpt them into your brain so that you may never forget. In most of my strategies I will be using the terms to place a bet. So, if you wish to understand my strategies then I request you to learn them thoroughly.
